New Symmetries in Heavy Flavor Physics
Isgur and Wise have found that the formal limit Mb, M, + 00 leads to very great simplification in the general structure of the electroweak matrix elements of hadrons containing those quarks. In addition, interesting new symmetries appear in this limit. Their results are discussed, as well as some natural extensions to matrix elements of products of currents.
